advice is highly needed

Hey everyone !
I appreciate if you could give me your advice with the following situation.
We’ve working with a guy in the same office for 1.5 years, and recently we’ve been hanging out in the same group of people quiet a lot. A month ago he asked me out, and it went perfectly well. After it, we regularly came to my desk and had a lot of chats. Then, asked to grad lunch together outside ( not in the office). After that, I wrote to him on chat, just simply “hello” but he made clear politely he didn’t want to talk (.e. didn’t ask questions at all) and after 2 sentences I wished him a good evening. But after that, he suddenly stopped coming to my desk and seems he’s trying to avoid any contact with me whatsoever.
Question: does it mean he is no longer into me? What should I do ?

Something happened at lunch that turned him off. When you're just getting to know someone, even a little thing can make you lose interest. Just wasn't a connection on his part, don't worry about it.
