living together

My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 years now, and we both really love each other. My Boyfriend is planning to build a house (and then I can live with him) which he is happy to do but the thing is it isn't going to happen for another year and half. I really love my boyfriend, but I feel like I need the relationship to progress, we both live with our parents and work full-time, I normal see him around 3-4 times a week (if other commitments and friends permit). I want to stay with him, but I need feel like the relationship need to move forward and it's really making things hard.

Does anyone have an advice???

Has he explicitly said that when the house is built he'd like to live with you?
Do you have the funds to rent somewhere together in the meantime?

No, he refuses to rent. He says it's dead money

Will it be his house, tho? Or yours together? What are you contributing?

So he's saving his money for the new house. Sensible move. He's already said he wants to live with you. So unless you can hurry up the housebuild in the meantime are there other things that you can do to improve the situation from your standpoint?

You should be happy that your BF is wise and taking clever decision to build his house and not wanting to throw away money in rent. Though is seems painful to stay away from him but its a matter of one year, you should realize yourself that he is doing for the betterment to both of you. Staying away in love gives also pleasure and increases the intensity of love. I think you should not bother him to live together on a rented house. Let him do work on his objectives and just involve him in to your love.
