Girlfriend had enough of insecurity issues.. but is giving one chance

Hey everyone. my girlfriend and I are currently having some issues in our relationship and its all cause of me. I have serious insecurity problems and like throughout our relationship (1 yr 11 months), we fought so many times over the same thing: my insecurity. I would always get mad at her when she would like talk to other guys and i would start a lot of fights over the littlest things all the time to the point now where she almost dumped me and is giving me one more chance. ive done it so much that now even though shes giving me one more chance, the things ive done to her in the past still bother her and make her feel not fully comfortable with me because she feels im gonna start another fight over something stupid. Also, she feels self conscious of certain stuff to say to me because she feels im gonna get mad at her about it. Shes giving me this last chance but those feelings still bother her even though im slowly showing her ive changed. its been 2 days since this started (the chance) but im still worried those negative feelings shes having will never go away even if i do show her ive changed. do you think its possible they can ever? if so, how? what should i do? what should i do right now? she says she still loves me and cares for me but its just been so much and shes hurt a lot from it.

Honestly - sounds to me like you've got some issues to work out on your own before you can be in a healthy relationship. Best thing to do at this point is probably break up for a while and give yourself some time to explore the causes of your insecurity so you can work on it before giving it another go in the future or moving on to something new..

well... honestly, i do know the underlying causes of the insecurity issues and we did give ourselves a few days to think about think about it and so far, ive shown lots of improvements in myself to her and myself and i feel those issues wont happen again. the problem is that she feels those past memories ofall the bad things ive done to her still haunting her and bothering her cause it happened so it makes it hard for her to be happy and comfortable with me again after doing it so much. I just hope those feelings can fade away after time of not having the issue again and doing everything i didnt used to do... do u think its possible?

Do you have a life, or is she the only thing you have to focus on?
