I'm quiet. It's just how I am.
My boyfriend talks a lot. He seems to get annoyed/bored when I go for long periods of time without speaking to him. Silence makes him uncomfortable.
I do try to be more talkative with him, but we usually end up talking in circles when I force it.
I'm not sure what to do about it, though. I need to know what I can do to make up for the lack of talking to him in our relationship. Thanks.
I don't think you should force yourself to talk more.
Every each of us are different. If your boyfriend loves you, he has to understand that you don't feel comfortable talking like him.
There are many other ways to show that love exists between yours.
Personally, I hate talking too much at the phone with anyone, girlfriends included! I prefer face to face, physical contact, making love, etc.
If its a total imbalance I don't think it will work in the long run. If u are extremely quiet and introverted by nature and he is the complete opposite he may find u too boring. He may be a social butterfly and constantly want to be in social settings while u may want to just be loners and watch movies. This can lead to many clashes. There really isn't much u can do, don't stress too much about it.
