She wants to wait until next year to be serious...
So, I've been seeing this amazing girl for about 4 months now. I know I can wait for her because these pass 4 months has been amazing and made me realize how much I love her (But I never told her I loved her, instead I would just say," I like you.") I hangout with her every weekend, text her everyday, and Skype her every night. Throughout this "friendship" we'd argue like we're a couple. I know she cares for me and likes me A LOT. I just don't understand why she wants me to wait for her... but recently she told me about her ex, I knew she had just broken up with her ex in beginning of summer. but she finally told me how long there relationship lasted and what happened during the relationship that caused the break-up (He slept with another girl at prom). After the break-up, she was single for the summer and she met a guy that really liked her like I did, but she told me that she didnt like him (I guess she was talking to him so that she can forget about her ex). She ended up breaking his heart because she wasn't ready for another committed relationship. On the last day of July, we met and from then on we started "talking". This opened and answered many of my questions I had about her. 1) Her ex was her first love. 2) I was trying more than her during these pass months (I showed her more care and love..). She told me how she treated him right throughout there whole relationship span but she always felt like she wasn't important enough to him (guessing that he didn't treat her right). After two months of talking she just stopped showing the lovey dovey side of her through her messages (For me this means a lot lol) but whenever we hangout there's always this spark. I noticed these pass months that she would just be brutal to me and be a brat. She would always say she doesnt care whenever we argued or when she gets upset. So I had to put away my feelings and make her feel better. She never considered my feelings because it was always about HER feelings. I feel like I'm giving her so much but I rarely get any back from her...(I felt like her when she was with him) Her ex recently messaged her (a couple times but she always ignored it until now *she also hasn't talked to him once after the break up*) and told her all those sweet things and told her those feelings he still has for her. She turned him down and chose me. Idk what to think, she told me she would never talk to him...but she still did. I just dont like that fact that he messaged her because now that he wants her back, I feel like he's going to ruin what we have. idk what went through her head or what shes feeling now because of what he said. I know for a FACT that she still has feelings for him, otherwise I wouldnt feel like im giving to much in this "friendship". and i can't help but think that now that she knows that he wants her back it could possibly lead to more contact with each other in the future. Would she ever message him on the sly when we're still talking? How long will I have to wait? (I don't know their status of intimacy during relationship. All I know of what she told me is that she never had sexual contact with him, just kissing.) Is she also talking to someone else because of how long she wants me to wait? This girl is very attractive and every time we go out she'd get hit on. She would always tell me how she get's hitted on at school (We go to different schools), and im sure she knows i get jealous.. she can be very flirtatious so I'm worried that she's flirting with other guys... I feel like shes not telling the whole truth every time she tells me a incident that occurs at school. LAST QUESTION: Where is this leading me in this "friendship" with her? If anyone could help me understand or answer my question i would appreciate it!
