Moody Women
I'd like to hear from some of the ladies here. What exactly is it that makes your gender so moody? We all know of the hormone theory, but it's got to be more than that.
Frankly, it drives me crazy sometimes trying to figure it out. I'll never admit it face to face with my woman. To do so would admit total defeat...lol
I mean...one minute you can be the nicest most caring emotional woman on the planet, and the next its like the wicked witch from the wizard of oz. I'll admit though...I wish I could be like that, and have the excuse anyway...
Seriously though...be honest. What is it that makes you moody. I'm asking this so that I can learn when the warning signs are coming, and how to stay out of a certain lady who I am so very fond of's way.

Apache, its not just women. My bf's moods change like the weather in Texas. Some days he can flip out if I ask him how his day was.
On the whole, for women it is hormones....the only time I personally ever really get moody is 'that time of the month'. But just like guys, we can snap due to fatigue or stress. Is there really any way to determine if your partner is fatigued or stressed beforehand? Sometimes yes, sometimes no.
-
yeah it's not just women. men are freakin' moody too!!! what's up with that huh?
HUH?
-
-
 Men moody? We're so simple and predictable.
-
disapointment
no aknowlogment appreciation, acceptance anyone not just women act up when one of these is lacking
2 weeks before my period my hormones go nuts but as soon as i get my period im back to normal isnt that weird?
-
Men can be moody. Simple and predictable men? No way!
-
In agreement with arty, men can be very unpredicatable. lol. At least in my experiences.
I only get moody the week before and during "that time of the month." Its as if I turn bi-polar for a few weeks.. I'm super happy one minute, I'm pissed off the next, then I'm horny! Go figure *shrugs*
-
i'm moody any time I'm tired or hungry or don't get what I want... nothing monthly for me.
-
Hormones....argh!
I'm laughing here...hoping there was another explanation.
And I concede....I too am a moody person. I like the bi-polar
explanation. I think that was the most honest response here.
So let me ask this, if you happen to be in one of those moods, what
would it take to make it change? For me...laughing seems to snap me
out of my nastiness.

Nothing can snap me out of a mood. I just got my period back for the first time in a long time last week, and my SO was laughing at me because I was so bitchy, and I didn't even know why lol. I was just sitting there in a bad mood, and he asks me whats wrong, I couldn't tell him. I had no idea, all I knew is that I was in a bad mood, and was extremely aggravated.
It helps when you're able to recognize that you're in a bad mood, and there is no logical reason why. That way you don't take it out on someone else.

yep, gotta recognize it. i just know if i'm moody, the best thing to do is avoid people who constantly push the wrong button. Best yet, maybe it's just better to be alone. but then you get lonely...
so your best bet is to pretend you are not moody, and eventually, you will not be moody.. you're only as moody as much as you're dwelling on it. if you don't dwell on those feelings then they just go away... for me anyway.
