My girlfriend does not believe me

I come from a Lebanese background but I am born and
bred in Australia and my girlfriend is Fijian
and I have not felt what I felt for her yet.
I know I'm in love but I also wanted my
family's blessing. They were not intrigued
And thought I was being childish. She thinks
that I could never choose her over
family but I am willing to put anything on
the line for her and the love that I have
for her. I never want to not touch her and
I want her to know that what I feel
for her is real and beautiful, in a way I couldn't
Explain in words.

So what do your culture stand for? Are u Muslim?
Cause a lot of those find it normal to date and marry their own family. And that is wrong.
So if this girl is your family stay away from her and ray to God to help u wake up.

And how old are u? U can say a lot , but it have no value if there is no action.
And if u barely know the girls its stupid to jump and do all of that not knowing who she is and how things will work out.

and all i see in your post is passion and enthusiasm. so noting u can build or go crazy like that for.cause its a temporary feeling.

I really don't think it's temporary. We actually state off as friends but I just don't think I'd be getting over her because we started off as friends and now I need her. I see her everyday; when I'm with her she all I want and care to have but sometimes when we separate I need reassurance and reinforcement. I am 19, we do come from different religions and different backgrounds but that's a given and I prefer conforming anyway. I just don't know to what?
