hi...newbie here. I'm 24/male/Dubai. This is a thread about me admiring a chick in the other cubicle. She's 22, and gorgeous. I'm Aries, she's Leo. Not sure if that's a good mix, so if some u know any prophecies involving that...
It's the classical shy-guy likes girl story, so I'm not going to bore you with details. You see, I work in a marketing company which involves alot of sales. Now in sales there's something called a 'buying signal'.
Same thing with guys and girls. I honestly thinks she's been giving me buying signals. Fine. So where's the problem? I joined the company in February, she joined in March. No that's not the problem, just part of the story. hehe
Thing is when she joined it was love at first site (from me). She made all first moves. She then started offering me rides home, since I still hadn't bought my car yet. We had good conversations, but never got to the nitty gritty. Like we never talked about personal issues. Mostly work stuff. She likes me as a person, as a colleague, character....and she's indicated that to me several times. Yet at the same time I'm not sure if she's keeping her distance...or pretending to keep her distance, so that I can 'make the move'.
So what's the problem, you still might ask. Make a move already, Mr. Zorg!!! And so I did. She always used to ask me what u doing this weekend, we should all get together etc...Fine!! A weekend comes along, and Prince Charming Zorg decides to call. I suggest the movies, but her tone seemed very unenthusiastic, and just didn't really want to do anything. So I let it slip. Same story for the next two weekends in a row, she like beat around the bush, and didn't seem up for anything.....like a cup of coffee, dinner, whatever!!!!
Since then, it's been a month and I never call her to make plans for weekends. If I call her on a weekend, or if she calls me on a weekend it's usually work-related since we both deal with the same client base. I'd like to change that a little. The weekend for me is to get my mind off work, not to discuss it! lol
Other than that, our friendly relationship is very good. She always has a pleasant attitude with me, a little flirty. Same with me, and I'm sure some people in the office have noticed, so I'm 'calming the act' down a little. In any case we're real cool. She even said to me "You're a real cool guy, Zorg. You have an awesome character, and you're very friendly etc." Great, keep flattering me! The problem is, I need to know how to make a move!! It's driving me nuts!
I'll be honest. I'm completely obsessed with her. I think about her 24/7. Sometimes I get these 'buying signals' and they make me feel good, and make me think she wants me.
What do u people advise me to do? Note - I haven't suggested weekend plans for a long time now. And I act as if I don't care. Now I want to have a go at it again. Jussst....anything, to sit and talk, get into an intimate discussion. I'm not after 1st base, and home runs, lol. Honestly, the smallest gesture means the world to me.
Ugh. Help.
