Moving Back

So I am moving back to the town where I lived with my ex fiance (I left him).

This is where I don't know what to do. He is with someone new but I still love him. He also visited me over Christmas and we had a very intense/intimate time together. I knew I still loved him them. He also told me he still loves me but yet he went back to where he lives and chose his new girlfriend over me. But now that I am moving back to where he lives should I leave a note on his car or just let him know I am back in town?

Do either of you really know what on earth you're doing? It sounds like it brains were dynamite neither of you would have enough to blow your ears off. I pity his poor girlfriend.
