what does it mean to love somone?

how do you know if that somone is the one you want to be with the rest of your life ?

So please explain to a "stupid russian" what its supposed to mean.

Its from a very good book called hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. The movie is probably out where you live, but I really suggest you read the book instead of watching the movie. Trust me.
