How can i move on from being rejected by this girl?
I met a girl and was her friend for a while, but i had a feeling that it wasn't going to work out. I ignored it and kept learning about her. I had feelings for her and wished that i could let her know how i felt. I did nice things for her, hoping she would know that i cared about her. She did share her personal problems with me and it hurt me to know that she was suffering on the inside. I tried to help her the best way i could. When she spilled something on accident, i told her that i would be the one to help her. I wanted to take care of her and be there for her. I disliked it when she talked about my interest in other women. I knew that she didn't realize that i liked her. I finally needed to show her how i truly felt and told her that i liked her and asked her out in a way. She told me she liked what i told her, but her parents didn't let her date and later told me to never speak to her again. It hurt me a lot and i was upset, not because she did that, but about that feeling and the feeling that her parents somehow turned her against me. I know there's little hope of ever being her friend, but it's still upsetting that her parents would do something like that. How do i move on?
