Deep seated issues between 21F and 18M (hopefully I'm doing this right)

I don't really have many friends so really there isn't really anyone I can turn to for, well, advice.

Okay so a main point of issue in my relationship (it's been 3 months in at this point) is that I'm not very OPEN with my boyfriend. As in open with my emotional issues. I was open before with my first boyfriend of 3 years and it ended up driving him into the arms of another woman.

I don't want to make the same mistake again. Ever. So since then I've learned to control my issues and when they do sort of "spiral out of control" I do my best to leash them. I don't want to burden my partner with them. I usually go jogging, meditate, shadow boxing, drawing, reading, writing, dancing to relieve any built up stress and I'll think really hard as to why I am upset and usually I'll sort things out on my own.

My boyfriend wants me to "share the burden" and gets sort of agitated and depressed when I don't. He acts like he isn't a good boyfriend because he can't make me happy all the time or resolve my emotional issues.

I honestly have no idea what to do. I'm at a loss. I don't want to keep arguing over this issue. Because it leaves him upset and sort of angry and it leaves me in tears.

He wants to know what is going on with you. I bet your previous boyfriend didn't and you drowned him with your emotions and he couldn't handle it. If your current boyfriend asks you to open up, just do it and see how he reacts. It's important to be honest and open with each other in a loving relationship. If you can't do it then you will keep having these arguments with him and eventually it will break you two apart.
