I need some help talking to this girl at school

So I’ve been liking this girl at school for quite some while now but she didn’t know until of late. Some friends were pestering us these past few weeks whenever we were together and I guess she guessed that I was into her, but she thought it was a joke. I tried to spend more time with her and act normal but my friends have made it kinda awkward between us and I’m usually lost for words or interesting things to say when we’re together and she often seems to drift away and stuff. I think she found out through some friends of mine when they told her that I really did like her. She said to them that she only considered me as a friend because she didn’t know me that well. She also said that she would rather hear it from me than from other people. We haven’t really talked for long periods and I’ve only known her for a year maybe a bit more, but I just can’t stop thinking about her. I was really upset when my friend told me what she said.

So I’ve been thinking about talking to her in the next few days to sort things out, but I wasn’t sure what to say. I don’t want it to be awkward and make things worse, but I also want to spend more time with her. I was wondering if anyone could think of something good to say in this situation. I was kinda just going to go like “I really like you and you mean a lot to me…and I want to hang out a bit more with you if you are free whenever”. I don’t know how to act either when I say this, like confident, slightly humorous or what? Some of my friends told me to talk to her and get to know her for a few weeks and some others told me to tell her exactly how I feel. What should I do?

Don't say you really like her( that makes you look like a pussy )....just ask her if she would like to hang out and do something sometime, then ask for her number.....and say it with confidence!

Tip: don't express your feelings unless they are actually your GF. Girls like a bit of mystery and challenge. Just act kool.

To add, if you want to know how to have a good convo, just ask her questions like about vacations she's been on, her favorite music, what type of movies she likes, you know that kind of thing. Let her talk about herself. This will help you get ideas on where to go and what to do on future dates.

Its like to going into fight - you gather courage to do what needed an win or fear burns everything around you and lose. Any negative thought will make it harder. You reduce them by acting immidatly(wait 0 seconds) from the moment you see her - even run if you have to get to her to faster start talking - thats what pickup artists do. Living in the moment. Thats what your problem you been thinking too much and doing nothing. Imagine you see a beautiful girl and first though is positive right? Like shes beautiful etc. but you hesitate and stupid thoughts like if im good enought, will she be interested in me, what if? Problem is you never failed thats why you are afraid to fail. You think everyone wil think you are loser if you mess up with her and she walks away. The truth is no one cares, you have permision to fail -its ok. Like Basketball player jordan said - I failed so many times and thats why I sucseeded. It doesnt matter if you try100 times and fail. What matters is that one time when you sucseed. Think all the way positive and you gona be ok.
