Should i reply to his text?

Hi all

It's rather embarrassing that I have to ask this...

But basically, I'm slightly besotted with a man who I know in a professional manner, although we have hung out as a group with others on a number of occasions. At first I got the feeling he liked me - he spend a long time talking to only me, bought me a drink, held doors open and all of that. But as time has gone on (only around 6 weeks) I've got the feeling he was just being friendly and is not interested, because he hasn't made any move. However, even though I am 33 with 2 children, I act like a complete girl around him. My mind goes blank, I can't keep up a conversation etc, so I'm not sure if I've given the impression I am the one not interested, and he's given up.

Anyway, I was going on a trip, and I knew he'd be interested in how it went so I text him and told him. His reply was really enthusiastic and I'm not sure if to reply to try and start a conversation, even though he didn't ask a question, or if that'd just make things awkward and he's just being polite. Also, he's completely out of my league and quite a bit younger than me!

Any thoughts appreciated x

Sorry, I wasn't clear at all. It's difficult without posting the text, but if he doesn't end it with a question, does that mean he doesn't want a reply... even though the text was friendly and enthusiastic?

Out of curiosity, how old is he? And why do you think he's "out of your league"?
