I dont know where I stand. What does she think?

Hi everyone.
A little back ground info on me first. Im 21, fairly shy guy, but otherwise pretty average. Ive never been in a really serious relationship. Only 1 previous relationship that went on and off for about 12 to 18 months and was never "official".
Theres this girl i went to school with, lets call her Gem. Anyway at high school being fairly shy i didn't know everyone, and i didnt really know her back then. But i knew who she was etc. I left school a year early to do an apprenticeship that ive just finished. She stayed at school and then went to tafe and done a course.
Almost 2 year ago i met her outside of school in a bar or out somewhere. She was really nice etc. I seen her out a few times and then we started chatting over facebook and then texting etc. A few months later she got a boyfriend and we slowly stopped talking until we didnt talk at all. I did like her a bit but realized there was nothing of it and moved on.
Almost a year after that she broke up with her boyfriend. A couple of months after that again i seen her at a party (her cousins whos a distant mate of mine). I hadnt spoken to her for a year and she said hi and was all friendly etc like we had never really stopped talking. She had to leave early and gave me her new number and told me to text her sometime. So i did and we started talking again. A month later she suggested we should have lunch or something, so we went out for a meal a couple of days later. She never mentioned it as a date but she got all dressed up and everything and it really was a date. It was a little bit awkward at first but we chatted happily for a good 2 hours.
After that we continued texting for a while and i asked her if she wanted to get lunch or something a few times but she never really seemed overly interested. We kept chatting and a couple of months later she decided she was moving soon. That was a couple of weeks ago now. Then we went out for a fairly casual lunch and it was good. She texted me straight after saying we should catch up again soon.
We were meant to go out again last week but it never eventuated. We were meant to go out again today but she cancelled this morning with stupid excusses as always.

I know she likes me at least a tiny bit. Probably more so as just a friend. Shes stated that i know her pretty well and tells me a fair bit of stuff.
The problem is that i really like her. Like like. Ive tried to make it really obvious over the last month or so. I know what i need to do is take her on a date and give her a kiss on the lips but she never gives me a chance to see her. I feel like shes getting the attention shes seeking and im loosing out and i should just stop talking to her again. But i cant stop thinking about her. I think about her at work etc and its distracts me/impacts my work. I don't really think about any other girls but her so im probably missing out on other chances that are slipping by.
We virtually only chat via text and snapchat (an app where you have conversations by sending pics with captions). Ive tried calling a couple of times but she doesn't answer. Shes the only person i ever communicate to like this, everyone else is in person or calling with the odd text.
I think shes just an attention seeker. Shes even said shes attention seeking.
But ive got a huge crush on her and cant stop it.

Hun, when something or someone starts to cause problems in your life, and how you perform tasks you need to take a step back and think about why. When it happens because your in love with someone, it usually is because the feeling is mutual. I would say you have a bit of an infatuation and could, or are being strung along by someone's uncertainty. You need to take a breather, clear your head and THEN look at the bigger picture of what's going on. Your not sure right now because your buried deep in this mess, and you don't need that, no one does. When you can do that, you might see what you have been avoiding or understand the situation better. I hope this helps, and I hope it works out, no matter which way it goes.
