What botherrs me !!!!

Well i am from a south asian country where peoples are more conservative then anyother part of the world. Here people respect their family values,the ethics. Here the most important thing is someones character to define them. People dont have sex before marriage. In relationship people walk together , sometimes talking over phone. this is the all about relationship here.Now things are changing. Peoples are more likely to have sex or what we called room date. In western country itsd very normal. Girls at the age of 15 - 17 have sex some times abortion is normal. This is the thing which bothers me. I cant accept that someone having sex before marriage. What she or he will carry for their future partner. I know some of you tell me , come on, grow up. But its just my opinion. I just cant handle it.

I imagine it would be very difficult to be in the middle of such large changes to your culture. Just as it would be difficult to move to a new culture who has different behaviour norms to what you know and believe.

I had a young friend who had the opposite problem to you: she was 17 and living in Australia, but was raised with ideals of Islam. She was torn between wanting to live as an Aussie teen and wanting to respect her upbringing.

I just watch a show called sex and religion. In Islam to go around the rules about sex, teenagers hook up on a public bus and have sex. They go on a Friday which is their holy day for prayer, so no one is on the bus....they just go to the back for privacy. Youth have been bending the rules on sex for centuries. What you see is nothing new. And you would be surprised, there are people in your culture actually don't wait till marriage, they hide it and pretend they never had sex before marriage.

What you believe in is fine, just don't criticize those who don't choose that path.

You dont need to worry about what everyone else is doing. Yes a large % are probably breaking the rules of your culture but you are in control of what you do. You can choose whether to wait until marriage or not and there are still lots of girls your age who share the same view and want to wait.

As long as you meet one of those girls who is on the same page-you will be fine. Stop worrying about the rest of the world. Just worry about you and your future wife.

I agree with your point of view Sourov13, their kind of love does look incomprehensible and a bit strange, but some people are born wanting it. I know guys who would never want to be romantic and only want to mate and nothing more with a girl.

On the other hand, I wish I could be with a single girl for all my life, but where I live, it is far worse than yours, and not only did none of the guys agree with my thinking, only at the most respect it, but the girls like the life the guys did, so I ended up going past the point where you can start a good relationship. At this point there is no time for me.

Again no disrespect to anyone but i have just noticed the mentality is v different where i come from. Sex is still important here but so is love, relationships, honesty, loyalty. People dont constantly talk or brag about getting laid. People are more conservative and private about there sex life. Not all but many
