Shall i get in contact with my old friends from school 9 years ago?

Hi

I am wondering because i like to get in touch with my old friends on Facebook And meet up sometime.

I got on well with some of them but i had to move to France when i was 8 because of my problems for some more help i am 18 now.

But I have grown up a lot in the last couple years and my problems don't show anymore before the summer i was too interested in playing my video games and did not want to be sociable.

Last couple weeks i am thinking that i want to get more sociable and make new friends whenever i'm in England.

Is it too late to get in contact with my old friends from school 9 years ago on Facebook?

1 problem that if i send a message it will go to there ''other'' inbox.

I want to send a friend request and a messange in the MAIN inbox.

Should i send a message anyway in the ''other'' inbox and a friend request??

Is this a great idea?

I have't seen my old friends from school for over 9 years... :)
