What is going on here ?!!? Need Advice ....

A bit confused and could use some advice .. !!!! Pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase
I dated this guy for a short while and broke it off with him because I felt we were not on the same page ..
We recently re-connected and have amazing chemistry as we did before, we have become close and talk often and meet up for dinner movies etc ... we enjoy eachothers company and its great
When we re-connected he was dating someone and broke it off with her not long ago claiming he was not "in love" with her .. he spoke to me about it a few times and I was there to listen when he needed to talk, he told me that he felt bad hurting her but it was the right thing to do because he couldn't fake how he felt .. he started opening up to me about his feelings (he has a history of being a bit of a player whereas he wants to be in a relationship but has the classic commitment issues) one day when we talked about relationships I was giving him advice in general and told him that these things take time and that he needs to just be honest about his feelings etc .. and he all of a sudden asks me "what do you think about me?" I was a bit taken by surprise - but I replied "In relation to what" so he was quiet - I replied to him trying to understand the awkward moment "do you mean in relationships?" and he said yes .. so i told him i thought that he seems to be contradicting himself, although he wants to be in a relationship - he doesn't seem quite there yet (ready to make a commitment) and I was being honest .. Since then we have been meeting up every few days - last night we met up for dinner, went to this amazing restaurant he ordered wine .. the whole nine yards, I went to reach to pay and he wouldn't let me ;(it was really expensive too) while at dinner he told me he saw this girl he thought was gorgeous at a concert and hit on her .. then he looks at me with a smirk waiting for my reaction .. so I said flat out why are you looking at me are you waiting for a reaction ? and he says yes are you jealous - so I said what is there to be jealous of ?? It just came out that way .. after dinner we went back to his place he suggested we watch a movie and we cuddled right after and fell asleep, He didn't try anything ; the next morning we listened to music kissed a bit and then I left for work .. just not sure what is happening here ?!! Help

Same thing that happened before, he's still playing you. You're not exclusive, he's not committed to you, he's not asked you to be his girlfriend, you're dating and you're going to fall for him again and then break up once again because "you're not on the same page."
