We are a on brake. Its her Birthday!

I been together for this girl for 3 years now on and off. I did not treat her well that i been a pretty bad boyfriend. two weeks ago she said she needed a brake. i want her back. I gave her space I know she still has feelings for me because throughout the brake she tried contacting me multible times. I know i have to play the part of independent, I have been but her birthday is today and i haven't wished her a happy birthday but i gave my friend a present to give to her which was a necklace with a letter saying happy birthday and thank you for be amazing and such because he lives pretty far from me and i didn't know if she wanted to see me. He said he cant give it to her today but he can tomorrow.

Should i still wish her a happy birthday tonight?

Also she texted me the other day saying to pick up my stuff i told her to ship it or throw is out because i didn't need it then she tried creating conversation then i soon ended going to sleep. How should i go about it talking to her after her birthday? The reason we broke up because i wasn't giving her attention If i ignore her wont that push her farther away?

If your just on a break, why are u guys talking about shipping your things to you? She was just texting you because she's lonely and needy. If she really Ioved u she would just be with u and especially not be talking about getting rid of your stuff.
That was very nice of u to get her a gift. If u think you'll get back together, you need to wish her happy birthday.

Seriously though, if she started the break and then tried to contact you, you should have answered her. Also, it's her birthday, you should send her a happy birthday text.

That being said, I don't think the relationship will continue. People in happy relationships don't go on breaks and don't play games with each other (as you are doing now by not answering her attempts to contact you). Be polite, wish her a happy birthday, but start moving on.

I'm saddened to see that the educational system in Canada isn't much if any better than ours.

The system teaches there are no winners or losers, so they are not taught to compete, or have ambition to be the best they can be....coddled pieces of mush is the end result.
