Dating in early 20s, late 20s, early 30s, and late 30s

So men, how is dating like or has changed in from your early 20s, late 20s, early 30s and late 30s? What kind of women, kind of relationship you look for throughout age? Do you find that your selection of women to be less as you get older or more as you age?

Dating selection has increased quite a bit from teens to early twenties, now to late 20s. I don't think it has much to do with age directly, but over time I think I've gotten myself together and become more attractive. I don't think it always happens like that. Some people do really well early on, but struggle in the mid-20s-30s getting their adult life together. That can hurt one's dating prospects. Some people do really well in the dating world no matter their life circumstances.

I think what someone is looking for changes with their life circumstances as well, so I don't think that is age dependent either, though I believe with most it does follow an arc. I've always been a sucker for smart, chill types, but I'll **** dumb, obnoxious ones if they're cute.

Do guys start their wife hunt when they turn 30?

There is not a set standard on when a guy goes marriage hunting. It depends on the guy. Some guys will reach thirty, see that many of their friends have gotten married, get antsy, and then marry the next person they date because they think that it is suppose to work that way. Other guys prefer to develop their career and have complete stability for life before they get married. Other guys find the right girl and they are absolute sure of it, in their early twenties. And for some guys it isn't about how old they are at all. It is about knowing what they will accept and will not accept, and only getting married when they find that.

I think dating changes from early twenties to thirties in that it becomes easier and easier to not be lured in by beauty alone. The older a guy gets the more important it is for them to meet someone who compliments them, yet still has an independent pursuits of her own. And that these things can live in harmony.
