Hi, old man here

I ain't that old, 54. I'm a grandfather of two, have two grown kids. I divorced about 6 years ago and no longer speak with the ex.
I'm still basically shy, but not overwhelmingly. I simply feel out of place trying to meet new people. I'm a bit cynical having dealt with a boatload of liars and thieves in my life, but still open to falling in love and all that jazz, but I'm also quite comfortable in my own skin and able to be alone. I can take or leave love meaning I have zero desire to end up with someone and their piles of insecurities.
Be nice to me and I'll be nice to you. Be a jerk and I can be a real prick. I prefer nice.
