How was your day

Noticed we had a "what you enjoyed" and "what annoyed" threads but no threads specifically designed for you to tell us how your day went so decided to make one. Whether you had a good one you wanna brag about or a shitty one you need to vent about post below and go nuts.

My day kicked ass. Sleep in till 11, met friends for lunch and then spent the rest of the day on the Hudson kicking it on a boat. Grilling some steak now and about to pop open a bottle of wine. Perfect Saturday IMO.

And because I enjoy posting pics heres a badass shot of me doing a plank on a boat because someone thought I was too drunk to be coordinated enough. Proved those bitches wrong. Ha.

Woke up early on orders and got blown off because is guessing drunk, passed out or still out drinking.

It is only around 8C today so far, still my morning, going to do family things this afternoon, get some hot cider and brunch.

I work hard and make good money but I'm far from being "rich". But I guess it's a legit question since I spent my day on a yacht haha. It wasn't mine tho..even if I had the money I wouldn't blow it on one of those. I'd buy one of those small boats that fit like 4 people uncomfortably and be happy with that ha

Have a cold, my throat hurts, my head too and I have a fever.
I have loads of things to do, but I feel way too tired to make them.
I can't stop thiking about him, he said he would talk to me this weekend and as I expected he didn't...Bad, bad day

Day so far has been pretty uneventful. About to put on some netflix and waste my day on the couch with the kids.

my yesterday was spent going back to another area out of town because job called me back even though they let me go and some others because our part was finished, so lost most of my weekend to actual work. and disappointed several friends because i promised to show up at their parties, bbqs and bring stuff. bust of a weekend, got back few hours ago, basically chilling right now until getting together with my family for dinner and before played some basketball with a few friends over some beers almost when back in town.

what are you going to watch on netflix?

I ended up watching some of the first season of American Horror Story but the thrill was kinda gone for me since I already seen it. Decided to give Hemlock Grove a chance. It's alright. It's got Dr. Jean from xmen on it so I visually enjoyed that part ha. Got bored tho so now I'm on Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares. Which I will probably binge watch until I find something more productive to do.

Hope you have a nice dinner with the family. Times like these, when my fridge is bare..is when I most miss not having my mom in the same state haha

I'm only on at the beginning of my day so won't have too much to talk about, need to log in in my evenings too.

It turned out better than previously expected, also got a messed up drunk text in apologies, which I deleted with no reply back from me.

I said sorry after because you might take it to be a rude question. I've never even been on a yacht before, bet it is fun to sail on one for the day, drink and suntan.

Today later in my afternoon I am going to a baby shower. :)

Wow, you had a nice weekend it looks, did you go out on the yacht for the day, anyone fish or can't do that in that area? Like your posted photo, are you having your legs, feet off the deck? all upper body strength, be honest did you puke after? ;p

My weekend was horrible, like Exeter said on his work, I was told to go in on my saturday to cover for another woman and do her two open houses, which I knew zero about, so had to go into the office before noon and read up, get keys and figure stuff out them had to set up the two open houses, it was stressful because I didn't feel well and didn't know all the info, had to wing it, I wasn't pleased they figure because I took all that time off I was on some pleasure holiday, which they know I wasn't..case of low woman on the totem pole. Then had to hurry from that last showing/open house to get home change to go to my brothers gf's bday party at 7pm which went until 2am. Next day my throat was all swollen and couldn't swallow :\

Today I worked a half day, lol. Claimed Sat. as reason why.

So just puttering about, catching up on mails, foruming, house chores, laundry etcs. and later on will be going over to my aunt and uncles for their anniversary get together.

Lol on bathing the dogs, they are your lil babies.

Damn you had to work too over the weekend? That sucks. Sorry you're feeling sick too. Think you caught a bug or something? You should take come vitamin c tablets or the emergen-c tablets you dissolve in water works really good too.

You gotta have a license to fish on the Hudson so we just sailed for a few hours, drank (which we're not suppose to do either ha), and just enjoyed the nice weather. Did not puke afterwards. I think if it was 95 degrees or higher with all the beer I was drinking I might have. Me, alcohol, and heat do not mix.

You should have seen how much trouble the kids were giving me during bath time. I was lazy so decided I'd put all 3 of em in there at once and yeah that just did not go well. My bathroom was drenched and soap was everywhere. Worst.idea.ever.

Because I was silent off that drunken late text, I got an actual phone call to express sorry and the promise of him finally travelling to see me this time.

Got a free coffee and pastries for lunch.

I took a sick day off to work on the nursery, almost finished with the painting and details, can start putting in the crib [ built with my brother] and shelves, toys and other things the wife and our families bought.

Took the boys for a run in the park and a soak in a lake =)

Relaxing with a beer until the better half gets back. Then I am going to BBQ for us and her parents for dinner tonight.

Yep, I bet I will have to this Saturday too. No rest for the wicked, lol? So hope it rains Saturday so I will feel less miserable about it all... My throat is all better now bet it was all grossy discolored inside and clearly swollen you could even tell by my neck on both sides, ugh. I think it was the weather, ant products and other things going around that shouldn't in the summer, boo.. Thanks on the emergen- c tablets, I'll get some for next go around.

Do you ever go fishing, with your dad, brother or friends? My dad and uncles go out sometimes, I don't, but if asked and nothing to do I would give it a good try, especially if they had a nice boat like you were on :) Not some lil motorboat that could turn over etc. something you can move around on, eat, drink, lounge if you didn't want to fish. I bet lots fish w/o a license too, NY rule breakers lol? You aren't supposed to drank on open water either, I don't know any of the rules of being out on a boat obviously. I can see why the one steering shouldn't but why can't the passengers aboard? 95 is hot and to be drinking in the sun, you are lucky there were no sick ups.

You should take a hose to the lil ones, haha all at once. Lots of splish splashing about? I don't even try to bathe my cat, she cleans herself, haha she'd have none of it, none of it and never forgive me either.

Good on your art thread, I'll definitely post images on it for you.

I went into work an hour early today, I like doing this during the summer so I can skip out and hour earlier at en of day :) Going to heat up some food, wait for my roomie to get home off her job and then we are going to a movie, not sure which one and other GF is her choice to pick the movie so guess we'll know when we arrive, haha.
