what does he want? confused

Hi my boy friend of 6 years kicked me out and broke up with me a month ago due to him suffering mental illness & a lot of small issues between us taking its toll now that im trying to get on with my life meeting new people taking more care with my appearance going out more to clubs etc he's sending me messages telling me he misses me cant stand blowing up at me that he took me for granted at times & that he doesn't want to verbally bully or scream at me and that if i do pick up don't sleep with them calls me his best mate talks about me all the time to his friends in hospital has put my picture back up in his bedroom after taking it down when we broke up & when i questioned him on the messages he claims he was highly medicated then also texts thanks for being there love you heaps what do you think does he want me back or does he love me as a mate & just want to b friends?

It looks like he wants you back as a girlfriend. It might work out, but if he has serious mental issues, then it will probably be quite difficult. Do you actually want to get back to him?

What mental illness does he have? Has he been abusive towards you? Were you really happy with him?

Sometimes its best to cut your losses and keep moving forward. You have to put your happieness and safety first

Are you sure you still love him? Can you live with his mental illness? I do hope things work out for you and him.
