New to this and don't know where to go from here....

So I've known this girl for 6 years now. I've always had feelings for her but back then I never knew how to express it, and it didn't help I wasn't that social back then. We hadn't talked for a while, but then I found out she was living at the college I'm now at. I contacted her and met up with her for a short bit as I was leaving for somewhere else. When I saw her again, I realized my feelings for her were still there. We made a date for 2 days later to hang and catch up on things.

When that day came I took her out to eat, and we walked around and talked at a park and at her place. We then went to my apartment to watch a movie. Everything was going well, and we cuddled up on the couch and watched the movie. After the movie was over, she kept hinting at something. I realized what she was hinted at, but I was honestly scared to do it, because had never done it before. Eventually I plucked up the courage to go for the kiss. We made out for a bit and I felt something deeper at that moment. When it was over the rest of the night went well, but I noticed she was a bit hesitant after that. I messaged her about it later, and she told me why. She was afraid of jumping into things because she knew that most relationships, when they mess up, the two people stop talking to each other. I understood where she was coming from and maybe it was just me rushing things because this was entirely new to me. She was the first girl I had ever made out with. She said she still wants to cuddle when we hang out but just hold off on the kissing because she feels its jumping into things.

I couldn't sleep that night and decided to go to her place to talk about it. I needed to let out what was in my head. I talked to her about the night before, and she knows how I feel about her. When I ask her about her feelings, she told me she honestly doesn't know yet. She told me she wanted to continue hanging out and if something sparked between us then it happens. But if it doesn't, it doesn't. She put her head on my arm as we were sitting on the porch and told me to look at her, and she told me not to worry. I don't want to believe that kiss was for nothing or just something to pass time. I feel that if she initiated that kiss, she must have some kind of feelings inside, that she just doesn't know yet. I don't know where to go from here. She knows how I feel so what do I do now? Do I continue asking her out, and continue to spend time with her, and see if something happens? How often should I text her or ask her to hang. I can't stop thinking about her and how she could be feeling about me. I'm totally new to this so I don't know what signs to look for and what not.

I just need some help knowing what to do at this point. From what I said does it sound like I have a good chance with her? Could she have feelings for me she doesn't know yet?
