Advice on three different situations

Hey all,


Need some advice on three quick situations. Before I start, just want to say I've improved a lot on building and developing relationships in the past twelve months thanks to just general confidence boosts with having my first kiss this past summer & being myself around girls who generally like me as a person. I've got three different situations with three different girls....but really dont know how to get about them lol and could use advice.

Summer of 2013 in Canada, I met this girl on my last day of vacation as she was related to my cousin (no relation to me but to my cousin). Anyway we quickly hit it off trading numbers. Knowing we would meet again exactly one year later for several parties, we chatted and got to know each other better. She confided in my about her relationships, but i didnt give anything away about mine. As soon as we saw each other again one year later (summer 2014), she invited me to hang out with her and her friends and i said yeah. We hung out and got a little closer - holding hands at random points, having laughs, taking selfies and just generally enjoying each others company. I started to catch feelings for her, especially as soon as I came home and as she told me she kissed another guy and went on a date with another. It's weird, cos I've never met a girl that I've genuinely liked SO much.... and even my family like her too! We literally chat nearly every day and trade snapchats always. When the topic arose face to face of me and her together, she started blushing. She's joked about friendzoning me, but never has....maybe saving possibility for a romance one day? I confided in her about my first kiss. It's weird cos I wanted HER to be the first. She was shocked when I told her about my first kiss and who it was with, and was not happy at all. I'm quite glad I suppose I didnt kiss her cos then maybe I wouldnt be as close to her as I am know? And If I did kiss her and she didnt kiss me back, it might have made things awkward...

I confided in her friend by telling her that I liked (situation [URL=https://www.loveforum.net/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=1]#1[/URL] ) girl and she told me that the girl i liked probably didnt feel the same way. I feel like her friend is right, considering i compliment (situation [URL=https://www.loveforum.net/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=1]#1[/URL] ) girl on her pictures and she never really says anything flirty back. Am I catching feelings for the wrong girl and the wrong reasons?

I started chatting to this girl at university and we get on quite well....always chatting and having a good laugh when around each other. I feel like im nearly there in maybe asking her out....although she has never showed genuine interest in dating me. One thing is for sure though, that she ticks a lot of boxes that I look for in a girl....except I find her accent annoying. Am I being shallow??

I traded numbers with this girl, who lives around half hour away from me, thru Twitter and we've been trading funny videos and tweets etc. I find her attractive and have not showed a flirty side....maybe cos I havent met her before? Anyways, on NYE she sent me a really sweet message telling me that she really likes how I am as a person and that she hopes our friendship can grow....have I been friendzoned? Need to get out ASAP. How??


Would appreciate help, and in numerical order pls to avoid confusion when reading.

Sit. [URL=https://www.loveforum.net/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=1]#1[/URL] - It sounds like she may not like you based on your last paragraph. Is this girl no where near you geographically now? If so, there's not much point in pursuing her anyway.

Sit. [URL=https://www.loveforum.net/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=2]#2[/URL] - Maybe kind of petty, but it bugs you so you can't really fight it. If it's bad enough that you can't imagine wanting to hang out with her for a long period of time, maybe not worth it. You could ask her to hang out and see how it goes?

Sit. [URL=https://www.loveforum.net/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=3]#3[/URL] - You don't know her and have never met in person. I don't think it's possible to be friendzoned when you are barely even friends. If you are interested and want to make sure she sees you as more, ask her to the movies or something. 30 minutes is definitely doable.

In general, chatting online doesn't make a relationship and long distance is pointless unless you are moving sometime soon. I think you should focus on a girl who you can spend time with in person. And you don't have to make a decision on one girl over another right away, dating is to feel out people and see who you click with the most. Good luck!

Girl number one lives in Canada and I live in England .... so pretty far away! Not much point in pursuing her, but am I stupid for having feelings for her?

Girl two is definitely dateable (minus accent). I suppose I'll think about it, and maybe ask her out!

Girl three - she posted a picture on Instagram of her with a mysterious guy and several hashtags implying they hung out that day...maybe her boyfriend? Might give that a shot (hoping we chat more & she isnt dating)

And thanks for the advice... I always like to keep my options open! Just watched series two of are you the one...and learnt a lot and started asking myself these questions....so that's why I came on this forum. One major (emphasis on MAJOR) thing I learned, personalities are 10% of what girls are into. 90% of the time, girls like muscles. So basically, I also need to go gym and gain muscles cos im skinny as f*** lol
