right so the other day a guy came up to me whilst i was in work and asked for my number, later on that day he text me and we had a full on conversation that carried on till next day, we spoke alot and he said he's never asked a girl for a number like that before and he said he was glad he did, he also was very keen to ask me to come meet him following weekend, we spoke on the phone for about an hour aswell, but then the next day no text what so ever, i had to text him first eventually to show im interested the conversation soon died as he ignored me but then snpachated me for abit later on the evening he did tell me that he booked the friday of work so we can hang out in the day and hes happy he'll get to know me abit more. today he has not text or snapchated me or anything and i do not want to pop up first as i feel like a pest, he has been liking my facebook photo ive recently added so i just dont know , is he playing up doing it for a show or is he genially interested?

It's a 50/50 thing my friend. If he asked for your number then he is definitely interested. Unless he saw some picture that turned him off or you did something wrong the last time you guys spoke or texted, there is no reason why he would lose interest. Rather the guy may be waiting to see how much you are interested. Or maybe he is just busy.

If you don't initiate conversation, it looks like you're not interested, and he will find someone else. It's that simple. Show you're interested, or he goes away.
Starting a conversation is not "being a pest". Whatever gave you a crazy idea like that?

Good lord you haven't even been on a date yet, give the guy a break. It's perfectly normal not to hear much from them before the first date. He doesn't even know you yet, but yet you want him to be all gooey, and slobbering all over you, answering every text with eagerness. Get a grip he's not obsessed with you, he is just a guy that found you attractive and ask you for a date. He owes you nothing but maybe a follow up call as to arrange a time for the date.

Guys number one rule: don't be too eager, be less available, don't be needy, don't over text. This will increase the mystery and desire. and I see it's working hah.

**** Why is he not available to meet you Friday Night AFTER work?

DON'T meet this guy anywhere in your home or in his. Taking a work day off so he can meet you in the day to me is a RED flag in my book unless it's because you have to work Friday night and Saturday all day and night too. O.o

Don't keep bugging him at this point. You don't show interest through TEXTING you show it through one on one interaction and then some texting AFTER you've established a mutual interest in one another. At this point it should just be used to confirm your date... (Your DATE outside of the home... not a "hangout" at your place or his).
