Friend pissed off with me :-(

A short story:

- became friends with this girl.
- as time passed, became really close with his girl
- realised she probably meant more than just a friend.
- wanted to tell her how i felt.

but a small misunderstanding happened.i said something else that hurt her deeply. i apologised in every possible way. but she said she never wanted to speak to me again.

its been 2 months now. i havent spoken to her since then. i tried but she wont talk to me. i miss her a lot. I think about her all the time. I dont know how to make peace with her. any suggestions?

Well what did you say that hurt her deeply? Because depending on what you said, you may not be able to make peace with her.

Wow, 2 months of no contact over something you said??? I'm sorry to say this, but your chances are not looking good at all. How long have you two known each other?

I'm afraid to say it, but unless it was something really mild that you said to her that upset her (That you can pass off as some lame joke), then you should probably let this one go. 2 months is a long time (more than enough time to find somebody else).

thanks for your replies guys. i am still hopeful that she might talk to me soon.

the argument started with this story...

we had plans since the beginning of june to goto a concert in july and we had bought tickets. a week before the concert, we were talking on phone one night and i reminded her about the concert. she said "oh im so sorry..i cannot make it to the concert...a cousin of mine is visiting me." i said "what?? we had plans from so long. even my parents are visiting me. im disappointed that you made other plans without even telling me!" she said she was sorry..blah blah and that was the end of the conversation that night.

i didnt care much about the concert anyways and it was she who wanted to go. i called her up 2 days later and she did not return my calls. she called me back a couple of days after that and said "i dont think we should be friends anymore." i spoke to her once, in person, after that and she said she had thought a lot about this whole thing and she thought my whole purpose in life was to make her feel guilty that she wouldnt come to the concert. i tried to make her see reason but didnt work out. i was hoping that giving her some space and time might help but so far, it hasnt.

we had known each other for about an year.

Thats it? she didnt go to a concert? ..THATS IT?! Girls are stupid as all hell.

lol. okay, well if after 2 months she doesn't realize why you may have been upset and hasn't excepted your apoloigies then i think its time for u to move on hun.

show her what she's missing.

I have a hard time believing she did this only because of the concert issue...She probably couldn't wait to use something this small against you for whatever you did or did not do beforehand.

I had the same feeling. I asked her if it had been something else I had done before. She said I had never cared for her feelings and that I expected too much from her. :horror: She said she no longer "cared" about me .

So how was the concert? Who did you go see?

yeah she's a biatch!!!! move on!!!! There's got to be more reasoning behind her decision that she doesn't want to tell you unless she's just a self absorbed person but either case, you don't need her!

finally found her online today and had a half hour chat with her ...she said things like "we are not compatible" "u dont understand me" and stuff like that. anyways the good news is she said " i dont want to be the person who didnt try to maintain the friendship so how about going out for lunch tomorrow." i said sure but she said "i have to warn you i wont be myself i will pretend to be me but i may not be the usual me" i said ok.

i dunno wot i shud say to her when i meet her tomorrow...any suggestions?
