why dont he wish to contact or see me or even keep in touch on FB?

I knew him 10 years ago online. We met and hung out (4 to 5 times) at campus (we studied in the same college) but we werent officially a couple. I was expecting more from him and send him an email stating my displeasure and he didn't try to reply or contact me again.

Fast forward 10 years later, i saw him in the very same chatroom again. I tried to send my regards like "whether hes married?", he didn't reply or ask about my marital status too. He just immediately suggested to meet on the very same day for lunch where he mentioned that he will answer all my questions. I told him i cant meet it and he set up a date on the very same day.

On the day of the meeting, he didnt respond to my text requesting for an earlier meeting. I arrived at the venue and waited for him, i left after he failed to respond to any of my text. Later he texted me stating that he has arrived and if only i had waited longer. He said he was busy at work and couldnt reply me. I was very keen to meet him and ask to meet at an alternative venue and i could come out again. He replied " why dont i suggest meeting at the moon?" "And said hes enjoying good company at starbucks and i should come join him". I wasnt too sure if he was alone or was with a group of friends or with a female partner and was intentionally trying to stand me up.

I asked why is he so mean and rude. He just replied that he's enjoying gd company now and my texts are interrupting his social life when i suggest meeting at a nearer venue.

I then sent him a long text explaining to him my intention for the meeting - to say sorry to him and to catch up as i didnt handle things well with him back them. I also sort of confessed to him that i "liked him back then" . He replied at 2am rudely "bull***, if you have liked me a little, you would have stayed in touch, i have many who told me they love me and are willing to do anything for me. Best of luck."

I didnt hear from him again. I sent him a few text messages telling him im sincere in catching up as only a friend but he ignored all my texts. I even texted him my Facebook email to keep in touch on FB if he doesnt wish to see me in person but he didnt respond either.

What could have gone wrong? I wasnt sure if he was married or attached etc. To emphasis to him that my intention is only to catch up as a friend, i told him im engaged currently.

Its been weeks since the botched meet up.. he didnt reply to any message...what could be wrong? will i not hear from him again forever?

he didn't even want to have me on FB..why is there such a resentment from him?

Why are you so gd desperate?

Stop contacting this man and leave him alone. He stood you up and now he's trying to ignore you but you keep trying to impose yourself into his life.

How clear does he have to be that he does not want to rekindle a friendship or anything else with you?

10 years ago you were "expecting more from him" and he didn't deliver then. Why would you think that he would be eager to give you anything after all this time of not being in his life?

Yes i know he doesnt want anything to do with me. But why did he initiate a meeting in the first place then snub me?

Because he wanted to see just how desperate you are. Most women would have ignored him when they seen him online when it was clear that he didn't want anything to do with your expectations of him.

He played you. Stop worrying about why he does anything and block and delete him from your life for good. There is absolutely no reason why you should even think about him again after all this time.

Nothing wrong with trying to follow up on a friend or people you used to know. Have a little self respect for yourself and stop trying to be friends with this guy. Maybe he was pissed off you didn't waited til he shows up. Or something else that is bothering him. But oh well, this friendship was probably never meant to be. Just focus on you, your guy, and your other friends ;)
