Late Bloomer in Dating in need for advice

Hello, I'm Dario this is my first time in love forum, in need of some urgent advice regarding something that's been bothering me for over 12 years.
I'm a 28 years old and I've never had a girlfriend and I'm concerned if I wait until I'm in my forties to pursue a relationship it will be too late by society's standards. Let's say I go out with a girl and she asks me about my previous relationships, and I tell her that I never been in one. Is it any girl's deal breaker, and if so, is there hope for me to pursue a relationship in the future?

For me it would depend on the reasons why you have never had a relationship.

I never had a relationship because I've been rejected by girls when I ask them out, and I stopped trying for over 6 years because you see, if I get rejected so many times by girls, what is the point in trying?
