Could really use a woman's perspective

So I find myself in a confusing situation. There is this girl I've been interested in for a while now and I finally asked her out on a date and she agreed. We went out for dinner and drinks, we had a great time we talked about everything from family and work to dumb things we did when we were younger. We laughed pretty much the whole time and the was never any awkward silence. The chemistry between us was great, like nothing I've experienced before especially on a first date. She brought up a second date and we talked about what we would do. Now a week's passed and I haven't heard back from her, I've called her once and texted her 3 times (to me that seems like a lot when you haven't gotten an answer, maybe I'm wrong) trying to set up the second date, but haven't heard back from her. I was very upfront and honest with her and told her before the date I was interested in her. So I'm confused, I've never been the type to hold out for someone but she's pretty much my dream woman and in not interested in anyone else other than her, I don't want to throw in the towel yet.

Sorry but when they don't respond or make contact (especially after a week) there is no real interest or they are influenced by another guy.

If you don't hear from her by this weekend, it's a bust. Move on.
