Rambling...

hey guys,,, sorry i havent been on here that much. Work seems to be slowing down, so i should be on here a bit more.

Ever feel like just picking up and leaving? I’m not talking permanently, but just temporarily, or maybe not. Who knows... Starting over in a new town does sound appealing. I wish I had the balls to, but I know I don't.

I'm bored with this town, and the routines. I'm thinking that a road trip may very well be a temporary remedy to this new found boredom. Maybe I’ll hop on a train with some random destination, get off where I feel like it, make camp and entertain myself for a few days? I’m sick of always thinking logically. hmm this sounds appealing

I’m only 22, and I feel like I’m 30

No, I have not. I've lived here my whole life and have no plans on leaving. Life is what you make it; it doesn't matter what town you're in. Of course it doesn't hurt if you life in a nice town, near the big city and right next to the mountains.

But yea, being adult and thinking logically all the time is a real buzzkill.

yep, this is the way i have always felt, but for some reason my feelings have changed. I think i mostly want to distance myself from my family judging me because of my choice/lack thereof 'religion'

Also, i have been brought up to be 'close minded' so this new found sense of freedom might be leading me in another direction. I dont know, just trying to figure some things out...

LoL I know what you mean man... but the thing is - chances are we'd likely find ourselves in similair situations no matter where we go, only this time we'd know a lot less people and be in an unfamiliar city.

I think if you want to change the way you live - only you can do it. It's something mental you have to do, not just moving to a new town. Although I will admit, I've felt the exact same way as you have (dunno if you remember my "Frustration Frustration Frustration" thread...) but I just realized that hey, if I don't like how things are, I'm the only one who can change. It's like Jeblina's sig - "If you don't like something, change the way you think of it"

I dunno... I felt like I was goin somewhere with this but then I got a phone call and it interrupted my thought process!

But then I just sound like a wussy 15yr old. I'm really not jealous, just seems half the posts on here on a given day are Tone and someone flirting. ;)
