I've bought my wife roses every other friday for the last 30 years

hello interweb. i have come here for advice and hopefully can get some input from some other hopeless romantics out there lol

my wife, who is the love and light of my life, my soulmate, and my bestfriend, and I got married at 20 and have been together happily ever since.

well for the last 30 years, I have brought her a dozen roses every other friday right before I go out town for the weekend for business- just to keep me on her mind and to let her know how much I love her and that I always think about her while Im away... And what she does, is picks out her favorite one and sends it with me so I think of her while Im gone. lol this has been our thing for 30 years :love:

well i recently was speaking with the new florist in our area about tricks to keep the cut roses fresher a little longer so that way they are still as fresh as can be by the time I get her NEW roses.
She told me- with the straightest face possible- "If you crush up viagra and put it in the water, it helps them keep longer." followed by a bright red face and, "I mean... Im not saying.... I mean, Im not assuming that..... It's just a trick my friend taught me....." Hahahaha! She is a bit younger- about 20- and was very embarrassed and I thought it was just the funniest thing ever.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else here has heard of this trick? And if maybe you have tried it?
