A Real Life Fairy Tale

I thought I would take a moment to share our story of real love. This is a story of two progressive rock music nerds who found each other and fell in love. In December of 2015, Genesis (yes, that's her name) posted a picture of herself in a progressive rock discussion group on Facebook holding a Jethro Tull record. Chris saw the picture and immediately fell in love with her smile. So, he flirtatiously commented, "Who is this girl? Marry me?" Once we began chatting, it became apparent that we had so much in common. Soon we realized that we had to meet. But Chris is from the United States and Genesis is from Venezuela. Without proper visas, neither of us could visit each other in our home countries. So we decided to meet in Aruba for 5 nights in March 2016 where we fell in love. 7.5 months later, after going through the immigration process, Genesis arrived in the US (with her dog Phoebe) on a special fiancé visa. The wedding is set for December 17 in Albuquerque.
