to be fair to zro, that's not what he was referring to. He meant that meat is the most convenient and efficient source of protein - NOT nutrition in general. If you really want to get technical, eggs are the best source of protein. They not only have the highest biovalue of any protein (100%) but they also contain a significant quantity of vitamins and minerals.
