I would highly recommend First Entertainment Credit Union for your IRAs. look into it.Quote:

Just spent the last 45 mins on the phone with my retardo insurance company. Its a smaller insurance company based out of a different state. Apparently asking them what urgent care I am covered by is the hardest question on the planet. I guess in a city of 60,000 people and being just 5 mins from the state capitol there are no, none, not even one since provider that I am covered in network to see. Lovely.
I just feel like crap. That rash I thought was a heat rash hurts. HURTS. Like some took a rusty nail, dipped it into an open flame then hammered the rusty nail into a two by four and bashed me in the back by my kidneys on my left side. Neither Cortisone and Benadryl has helped. I've never had a rash that hurts.
no way, there must at least one provider in your area. what's the insurance company?Quote:

Dean Health based out of Wisconsin.
The stupid thing is that last fall I could be seen at Allina, a regular office visit. It was in network. So I wanted to just double check that if I did go there for urgent care I'd be covered. Good thing I checked because apparently I can't go there anymore for any visits of any sort. I can go to one rinky dink clinic with no urgent care and their hours are 8-5. Swell.
I'm annoyed that the knowledge I bring to my workplace is esoteric enough that it's taken for granted, like magic.
yep, never heard of it. emergency room?Quote:

I think I'd get ass raped if I went to the ER. I'm sure my co-pay would be much higher.
Last time I called to be sure I was in network and what I'd be charged for a possible bladder infection they told me $30 co-pay. Period. A $30 co-pay and $150 later they mention the co-pay only covers the office visit. Any lab work I pay out of pocket.
I have some PTO time so hopefully my boss will let me sneak out sometime this week a little early.
what does the rash look like?Quote:

i know Fougera has awesome topical creams that help me from anything. Can you ask around if anyone has any?
Its like the size of my fist and goes from under my rib cage towards my hip bone. I can't really see it without proping myself up on the bathroom sink but it feels scaly where I scratched it and just sort of bubbly in the areas I haven't scratched.
I owed the Fed $12.00.
Despite making only 29 grand.
ouch, that does sound bad. i would really go to ERQuote:

Do this, BUT I will share that we have *always* done better than our financial planners advice...Quote:

There are lots of things you can look into once you have capped your tax-sheltered retirement funds. We haven't paid extra taxes in years. PM me.
Have you registered your own business yet Fras as a contractor? Do this asap. As you make more (and you will) the offsets will more than compensate for having to pay your own health insurance, etc. Think about this as you approach double and above this income.Quote:
