Your boss is a moron, browsing the web actually boosts productivity according to quite a few studies.Quote:

I think I would sooner shoot myself than work in an office.
It's not that bad... you get to have playthings aroundQuote:

God damn desktop computer won't boot up all the way. I find myself unplugging the power cable and plugging back in for a half hour just to get the damn thing running. It seems like if I plug in too many USB devices, it crashes. That has never happened before. I wonder if there is a faulty power cable or if this is the product of using a 300w psu with a low maintenance system.
I got annoyed when someone's lane merged with mine in traffic and instead of putting their turn signal on and being patient she tried to act like she was going to ram my car to "scare" me into moving over and jumping in front of me. I was like "yeah bitch, go ahead and hit my car so I can fu*k your insurance three ways from Sunday"! I did't let her over, nor did I let anyone else over who didn't have their turn signal on. If you've got a turn signal on and don't try to force your way in front of me I slow down, beep my horn, and wave you over to get in front of me. People have a total disregard for etiquette of all kinds these days!
In addition to that the interstate that I traverse each morning splits at the end . I wait every morning in the heavy traffic to get into the correct lane and wait as traffic creeps past the fork in the road. The other side of the split is always moving steadily, and so jackass always rides up next to those of us who have been waiting for 20 minutes and tries to get over. I DON'T let these people over even if they have a turn signal on. They should have been patient and got in line like everybody else. Of course there is always someone further up in line who isn't paying attention and they get cut off.
USB devices can interfere with the machine level boot ROM.Quote:

I would suggest plugging all USB devices in after the computer has booted and see if it makes a difference.
EDIT: Nothing has annoyed me today so far, other than waking up with a slight ambien hangover. But what's new.
Dono - it's nice to have you tech-savvy people around. :)
Dono01, you mentioned that you get your coconut bag waxed. Do you just get that waxed and nothing else? I am trying to figure out how much a full body wax would cost, how long it would last, and how much pain would be involved.
Haha, yes, i do. I replied to you in the other thread about this already I belive, but since we're here...Quote:

I don't really have any hair on my body. I am a pretty hairless dude so that's all i need to get waxed. It lasts about a month, and is thinner each time it comes back, and It's a LOT of pain. I have been through some painful stuff, and this is pretty bad the first couple times. And you're looking at about $150 for your back, chest, and balls/pubes depending on where you go. My wife does it for me, so it costs me nothing.
I tried that, actually. Still failed to boot up. I actually built the desktop from scratch. It ran perfectly for a while.Quote:

The LEDs on the mobo indicate some kind of power failure. All 4 ph light up, and then 4 and 3 kick back, and then it shuts itself off.
I thought that a cable went short or something, because I took it completely out of the case and it ran fine.
Boot into the BIOS and watch the temperature gage... see if it's cutting off power because it's not cooling correctly. I would also get a VOM and test the voltages coming out of the power supply (be careful) as well as through the motherboard (you'll have to grab some schematics if you don't know which leads to test) and make sure and check for blown or swollen capacitors. If all of that checks out, I would be confident in saying that it's not a hardware issue. In that case, grab a diagnostics boot disk, and start repairing stuff.Quote:

Thanks dono01. I didn't get your response in the other thread, perhaps I forgot to subscribe to it. $150.00 isn't bad, but I need FULL body wax. Upper body isn't that bad, but lower......well my sister in law jokingly calls me wolfman, lol.
Trouble is that most places have set prices for certain places. like... back $40.00, chest $35.00, bikini $50.00... etc. I don't really know anywhere that just has a "full body"Quote:
