Ussually the way it goes. The guy develops interest in the friend who happens to be a girl, becomes attracted on some level. Girl's intuition ussually picks that up (the subtle signs of interest guys have trouble hiding). If the guy is in the "friend's only" teritory she will want to make sure the boundary is not crossed. Ussually the automatic response is distance, until the guy looses interest. Once the interest is lost and she's not picking up those signals any more she will continue with the friendship.Quote:

It makes sense. if one of my friend-girls showed interest in me, but I wasn't interested in her I would probably do the same. Distance myself from her until her feelings fade. It's the easiest thing to do really.
