Time to grow up, Stoke. I don't care if you don't like what I say, it doesn't make me wrong. I read your "upper hand" comment exactly right. Even your response to me says you have an issue with being "wrong" in your mind. I wonder if your wife had similar comments for you.
Anyway, despite what you say about your daughter, I don't need to know your specific case. Statistics are clear about children of divorce. They generally end up with more problems, esp in developing close adult relationships of their own. Its well documented that kids who grow up in a 2-parent household, with parents who can find a way to get along, are better off financially, socially, and emotionally.
Are you parents still together, Stoke? Or your wife's? Just curious. You might want to perhaps consider counselling if either of you are children of divorce. There may be some issues there to unlearn.
