That sounds like fun but not at the same time, lol.
I don't remember, but I'm sure there were tons of random encounters. It was 100 degrees, people were tired from walking all day and being anxious, and bars were throwing their beers on ice and putting them out on the sidewalk to lure people in. I stayed the night at my ex's apartment and I remember seeing people in the building across the street partying off the balcony. In the morning I could see scores of people in that apartment sleeping or passed out, all pressed up against the glass sliding door.Quote:

She only says that, Friz, then you show up at her front door and she nervously looks up and down the street so that her man doesn't catch her talking to strangers!!Quote:

Anyway, we're heading to Amy's parent's house near Dallas, Texas.
It's a 10 hour drive, and we're leaving tonight.
Gustav just reached hurricane status and is gaining strength.
New Orleans is issuing a mandatory evacuation tomorrow, so we hope we can beat the traffic by leaving late tonight.
Have a safe drive.
Yikes! Good luck getting out!
You and every other person in NOLA. Good luck, man.Quote:

I really don't think it'll be that bad, and will easily be better than leaving tomorrow.
