Not to be mean in anyway but I think this is very trivial. Yes you forgot them because you were in a hurry, but would you forget your cell phone because you were in a hurry as well? Not saying you can't but you would be concious of something that was important to you to remember to grab it. So you didn't, so he thought you didn't want them...and gave them away. That's not his fault. So I would worry about other things rather than your flowers be given away.
Yeah, when he starts having sex with his best friend, then you can worry. ;)

While we are on the topic of flowers, I HATE it when women give me flowers. When I get them, I lie, rip of the card, say they are from my mom, and begin to pull them out one buy one, and give them to all the ladies in the squad.
