He froze up when I tried to talk to him.Why?

Have you tried asking him what his deal is? I generally prefer women to be direct with me.

On the other hand, he sounds like he has no self confidence, so you might want to question his true worth to you.

This guy I knwo is confusing me. He seems to always be hovering around me in my area but not initiating anything . He probably likes you and is trying to find out if you like him either by being indiferent. and it seems like he is succeeden if you react.
