first i became her friend. then i became her best friend. then slowly, things worked toward a loving, longlasting relationship.

I do the whole charming thing. I make a lot of jokes, a little prolonged eye contact. I make sure to leave before too long, then if I'm interested I'll ask her out the next time I see her.

When I was a news anchor, I used to use the Joey line from Friends (seriously).

Mathias: "Hey, haven't I seen you somewhere before?"

Girl: "Um...I don't think so..."

Mathias: "Oh, that's right...that's because I'm on TV."



Got a laugh (and a conversation) EVERY time. Too bad I wasn't single to pursue any of it. :)
