I agree with this.
I also tend to believe some people cheat because they're not happy in their relationship and do not have enough intestinal fortitude to face that fact maturely. So they take the mentally inept way out, and cheat.
I guess that follows along with the self-involved theory.
I guess that I was cheating at younger age. I wouldn't cheat on my woman now though. if I get cheated then I would break up.

Because of desire and sex that's s probably not being satisfied at home. Very basic feelings.
i dont even know why ppl cheat on thier lover. My ex cheated on me. She asked break off and then few months lates came back to me and pretend like nothing happened. She said she still love me and i forgave her. So we started to go out like a couple, had sex and do a lot of stuff together but at the same time, she was with another guy who is in another state which i didnt know bout it. Things continue till the other guy called me up and told me everything and i end my relationship with her. Now i think back, there so many lies going on for that eight months and im so stupid to trust her.... i've been cheated like hell......
People cheat for X amount of reasons, some people are just generally NOT built for commitment, some are not ready to be exclusive to one person but are fooled by their emotions. Some people are generally good partners but are weak in the presence of an ALPHA. Sometimes you go out with no intention of cheating, you go out and stay out thinking about your partner but you meet a very persistent person, and that person is good at doing what they do. I find that women have a harder time when dealing with this whole cheating thing, women get approached so much, hence increasing the chance of infidelity. the cheating thing is too complicated to pin point, theres too many reasons.
BUT, i repeat BUT IT HURTS more to a man when his lady cheats than it does to a woman when her man cheats...its like women are pre-programmed to know that their man is a predator and if she doesnt work hard he will find new prey.

I may actually agree with that comment. Obviously there's no way to prove it and being a guy who knows how bad it feels to be cheated on gives me good perspective, but obviously there's no way for us to say exactly what a 100% emotionally invested female feels when she is cheated on, and its probably just equivalent. However, I believe the facts speak for themselves. 75% of women cheated on give the man a second chance, whereas only 25% of men cheated on give the woman another chance.Quote:

The reasons for cheating are so vast that there's no way to actually pinpoint them. Obviously a relationship that is at a rough point opens the door for cheating. If the member who feels slighted confides in someone else about the relationship problems and that person is of the opposite sex, they begin to feel a connection with that person and it seems to inevitably lead to cheating, unless that person is some lifelong friend, then I'd say its a low probability. But a new friend "helping" you out with your relationship problems, is looking to take over, I believe.
A lot of guys just cheat even when happy because they're bored with sex with the same person all the time. Bottom line, we're animals...and humans are the only sex that stick with one partner. It's not like a male lion has one mate, he cruises around doing any female he pleases. No matter how advanced or sophisticated, we are not made to be monogomous. Guys love women, and I feel now that chances are reduced for a guy who may be promiscuous if he jerks off more. Some women get pissed if their SO jerks off to porno or whatever, but really, most of us like to get off to different women frequently and I think its a much better way to do it in fantasy land than for real...just my 2 cents.

Vash, I would argue that men feel a different sort of pain. When a woman cheats on a man it isn't just a slap to the face, it doesn't just break his heart, and it doesn't just cause him to lose faith in his partner. It also causes him to question his manhood. And that is a very touchy subject.
And this is different from women.... how?
First of all, I will start by noting I said the feelings are probably equivalent. However, given the fact that I know women are more likely to forgive, how are you supposed to translate that? I think it comes down to them almost expecting it or something. If a girl cheated on me she'd be gone in 5 minutes. Each girl I've dated has told me the same thing...that they'd give me another chance if I cheated (which is absurd), to which I scoffed and told them the same thing I just said a sentence ago. If you cheat (whether male or female), you obviously don't care enough not to. What's there to forgive? It's just foolishness on anyone's part that does forgive (male or female).Quote:

I don't know that I can really explain it, Vash. How would you feel if I suggested you like pumping girls? You'd probably look at me funny. You tell a guy he looks like the sort who takes it from behind and he may just knock the teeth out of your head. When a woman cheats on a man that makes him into a cuckold. It makes him feel like some kind of punk. It isn't even that he feels unnatractive. It's that he might just feel like less of a man.
Would you consider kissing/making out, with someone else other than your SO, cheating? Or does cheating only mean sexual intercourse?
