Well, Mish, like all things Relationship, it really depends on the person. This gal went thru a very rough time with a guy who turned out to not be very nice. She did her best to make things work, but everyone has a limit. She's a teacher/engineer, and ended up meeting my friend who is also an engineer. Unlike a lot of single moms, I guess, this gal wasn't desperate or having problems with self-respect, except for the obvious issues of having gone through a difficult divorce.
