im depressed

yeap that what she called me and compulsive liar, now im soaking in my own tears because I know that shes hurt more than me and I just want her to trust me again. I will buy her a gift for valentines and ask her if she would like me to drop them off to her for we could talk. Im going to make sure that I tell her that im not using valentines day as an excuse to see her, im just getting her the gifts to let her know Im still in love with her. I just hope that she accept my offer and we talk about things. I feel really stupid for lying so many times and now I just try not to lie to anyone.

Look above and ask yourself again why you'd like to deliver a Valentine's gift to her.

I'd recommend that you ask to see her without involving the gift, as it can create confusion in regards to the reason for your visit.

Apologize or say whatever you need to bring this to a close and then move on, vowing to work on overcoming the issue with lies.

The next woman you are going to meet is hoping you'll have it under control before your initial encounter.

So youre saying that she might never accept me back sphinx? Im so scared that she might now want to see me again the last time we talked were on jan 25th and im going to call her friday on the 1st of feb just to see how she doing. Then on the feb the 10 or 11th, ill ask if she would like to come see me and we can talk and if things go well ill pull out the valentines gift(i guess)

She might and she might not.

My thought is that she probably won't.

Yet, while you don't have control over what she decides, you do have control over which direction you decide for your life, regardless of her choice.

Focus on working on you for a while. I've seen men and women walk away from a relationship, grow, mature, and reunite after a chance encounter years later.

Who knows? Maybe you will happen upon one another later on, after you have straightened things out and gotten on track.

Was she a friend or was there something going on? If the first, why did you feel compelled to lie about it?

Just be yourself. Stop the lying, then you won't have this problem next time. There's only two sorts of lies anyway: those you tell others & those you tell yourself. Just a question of how much you can get away with & to whom.

im ashamed to say but it was a long distace number i retrieved from a woman who called me while I was working a my job(i work as a customer service rep and I wrote down the lady number that i was talking to because we were sort of flirting on the phone while i was explaning her bill to her while at work.)

wow...ummm thats pretty bad carl. I understand why she is so angry with you. But I have to ask you this..if you weren't busted lying about this lady would you have kept calling her and is the reason why you feel so bad about lying because you were busted and your gf broke up with you because of it or because you know you did do wrong and honestly feel bad for what you did?

Like I said earlier I think you should worry about sorting yourself out before you even think about getting back together with this girl if that is what she also wants. There are many issues there that need to be dealt with. History will repeat itself if you don't
