You took what I said as anger? It's just me voicing my opinion on the matter... you need thicker skin.Quote:

You need to relax and start taking things less seriously.

I agree you can make use of online dating services as long as you avoid the free ones. LoveMe.com is worldwide famous, ForeignLadies.com seems to be quite serious too. Plentyoffish.com doesn't even look professionally designed... maybe that's why it's free?
Think about it.
I've met nice, normal people on Plenty of Fish. Mind you, that's also where I met the creeps and losers.
Someone once told me that online dating sites are great, you stand a much greater chance to meet someone who suits you than in a real world where you options are usually limited. But it's very important to know how, attractive people (usually women) get about 15 "Hey how's it going" a day, you have to know how to represent yourself, and know how to talk. On the other side there are people who can get you to buy their Bull... on the web, you just have to be knowledgable and carefull.
Well, on dating sites, aren't you supposed to clearly state what you're looking for? IMO, that's a plus, better than having 15 random guys give you the "How YOU doin'?" thing in person and you don't even know if they're single or what.
Lilwing's right- take the time to make sure your dating profile looks good. Have some friends check it out, make sure it best represents you.
It depends on your age and what kind of person you're looking for. I find that most of the guys I've seen online are out my age range and are not quite up my alley... I notice that there are patterns to the kind of men that use online dating(for the most part), so I haven't found anyone with the particular qualities I'm interested in. But I'm just weird I think.
It did work for my dad though, married going on six years to a woman he met online. :)
Good luck!
Ha! Call me Loser #1. I can't meet anyone, online or not. But I think thats because the pickin's are slim, as exemplified above. Enough said.Quote:

Lol! Well I've been single for 16 years - beat that!!!! :D
P.s - you better not call me a loser for it! coz it doesn't mean nobodys asked me! hehe
I don't understand why sites like these can't be free - it's like paying to socialise. But my dad used one and he has been with his gf for about 6/7 years - unfortunately I only see him once or twice a year and so I can't tell you if they row alot but I don't think they do ;)
Good Luck!

Maybe because they require workers who deserve to earn a living:Quote:
