I am happy for you in spite of your elementary school arguements. whatcha got against elementary schools anyways?
Fras, this is really great news, especially given that you do physical labor. I have been very worried you would get hurt and be majorly screwed.Quote:

Do you remember when I told you guys about that time when I was on that ladder leaning against a metal building in front of a windowless door that swung out towards me, with wires in my hand less than a foot away from 15 ft drop in the middle of a windy thunderstorm?Quote:

Hahaaaaa...good times.
With my imagination you get me nervous. I don't know how you can do your work. Surely I would be fired within the first two days (if I haven't quit already).Quote:

We have BCBS also, btw. Even in Canada, we still have extended health, its a good idea when you have kids. The are pretty decent, tho the %age thing is a bit of a pain. You have to make sure you submit your receipts annually b/c there is a time limit to your claims.
Oh, in the US we had Harvard-Pilgrim. Some HMO. It was pretty good, I thought. Was around 4-5K/year for our family. It covered the 10s of thousands my son's birth supposedly cost. One of the most expensive hotels I ever stayed at and the service was merely okay. :P
unfortunately the government doesn't pay for my shit.
