You know something? You can become a hero in this dilema. I feel that you really want this potential couple to become real, that's why you gave yourself a name. BUt anyways, I've been in situations like that, as the guy trying to get the girl. And there was someone that was helping us out too, like yourself. I'd only wish that she would talk to her and give her hints about the situation in that case, she would ditch the other "jerks". Because I kept seing this "morons" all over her and I knew she enjoyed the attention, I left her because I lost intrested because all them guys flirting around her, turned me off immediately. I hope you are close to this couple.

actually, thats happened to me quite a bit, hanging out with friends, being the quiet one in a midst of craziness, making some jokes now and then and ignoring the females, and back in those days, i almost NEVER had to initiate anything with females, so it does seem to work. at least in my expiriences
