Holy cow, how much music you want on there? I have an 8 gig and its only half full :surprised ..I have 40+ gigs of music on my HD but I only put my favorites on there.

Ever heard of Variable Bit Rate? Also, one day your iPod stops working, built as it is, and all your dear data will be lost. By the way, does it chop music or have they fixed it already?

Anyway, all those pocketplayers have never appealed to me somehow. I just use them as memory sticks :P

And why is that? So you buy a mac because they are better? LMAO. Steve Jobs is a marketing man, not a computer engineer. He blew off the guy who invented Macintosh, saw an opportunity for good business.

Transfer your music to a smaller file type. MP3 files are pretty small, but the quality drops too.

Like you, I can only hold about 1500 on my ipod, but that's because I like my music to sound good, so they take up a shit load more space.
