I don't really feel my assumptions were wrong-- from what you posted it sounded like she didn't want to get back with you. So you had to convince her to. Just realize, getting her back is actually the easy part. Rebuilding the relationship especially after a breach of trust is the hard part. Good luck with that.

Until then, it might be a good idea to avoid those strip clubs.
